What’s the Deal with the Damages Screen?

Some of our Members have asked us, why does the ‘Report Damages’ screen pop up every time you rent a car?

To answer that question it’s important to remember that at ReachNow our cars are always on the move. We have so many cars going that we can’t inspect each of them after every use, which is why it’s up to you to take a quick look around your car before you use it.

We’re aware that sometimes accidents happen — cars get scratched and doors get dinged and so on. We ask you to look for damages before you rent a car so that we can make sure you don’t get charged for something someone else did.  If you see something, say something. Seriously…it only takes a few seconds to report damages larger than a credit card.   It’s super helpful when you provide pictures too. Once we know, we’ll make sure the car gets fixed and back into the fleet so that your BMW or MINI is always looking fresh.

If you happen to damage a car you’re using, honesty is the best policy. Just shoot us a line at membersupport@reachnow.com to let us know what happened and provide pictures if you can, we’ll do our best to work with you to take care of any repairs.
