One of the ways we measure how well ReachNow is performing is how long it takes to get a member driving. Making ReachNow as simple to drive as a personal vehicle is the ultimate bar for our service.
Over the past several months, our team has been hard at work reducing the time between when you hit reserve and when you are able to start your trip. Today, we’re rolling out an app update that will improve that time by an average of up to 4x* faster.
We’ve codenamed this update Fastlane. Available today with a quick update to the App, Fastlane significantly improves how long it takes to start a drive. Now, reserving a car now takes less than 10 seconds. Locking and unlocking a car? Now less than 5 seconds.
“The Fastlane update was designed to address some of the most consistent feedback we’ve heard from members over the past year. They love ReachNow because our cars are convenient, safe and fun to drive, but it can be frustrating to have to wait for the car to reserve or unlock when you have your hands full or the weather is less than ideal,” said Richard McNish, product management, ReachNow. “The initial rollout of Fastlane makes driving ReachNow closer to the experience of driving your own car.”
And, just because reserving a car is lightning fast doesn’t mean you’ll be charged any more. All ReachNow cars can still be reserved for free for up to 30 minutes.
This is just the first step. Over the coming weeks and months, you’ll hear more about additional improvements we’re making to remove steps between you and getting on the open road.
In the meantime, put ReachNow Fastlane to the test and tell us know what you think.
